your theory is that someone took the time to pretend to be Bob in order to convince you to buy an orange background forgery? You don't find it the least bit odd that the president of a company would specifically take the time to register and comment about an out of print title? Thank you very much for clarifying the "orange cover" for me. May I ask when you guys might obtain the rights to reproduce this title? When I called and spoke to VCI, the lady who answered the phone, and was very helpful BTW, told me that you were working on trying to put this title back into production.Īlso, do you know of any retail locations or distributers that might still have this title in stock, at a more reasonable price than the $50-$100 it is going for on Amazon and eBay? Of course you still have to beware of "pirated" copies - its easy to duplicate the DVD cover, not so easy to replicate a DVD - so you should know that we never produced any DVD-Rs on this title.Īlso must say that I agree on the fact that this is one creepy little movie and probably one of the best Made-for-TV Horror Movies ever produced.I stand corrected, there is no better way to hear it than from the source. It was part of a re-design we did sometime in 2004. I am Bob Blair, president of VCI Entertainment and I can confirm that the cover with the orange-ish background is legitimate.
